Donkeys are widely used in farming, and they are very friendly and easy to care for. They are protective around cattle, and are great at driving canine predators away from livestock. They can feature different colors and sizes, ranging from the Miniature Mediterranean (under 36 inches) to Mammoth Jackstock (14 hands tall or more.) Donkeys have distinctive long ears and straight necks and backs. Donkeys can be saddled and harnessed, and they are naturally healthy.
